Struvite crystals
        The microscopic examination of the urine sediment is an integral part of the urinalysis (UA). Sediment findings often are necessary for the proper interpretation of results of the physicochemical portion of the UA, which is discussed in the Routine Urinalysis module.
        The purpose of this module is to serve as a pictorial atlas of common sediment findings. It is organized according to the following "classes" of formed elements:
